The Vicar writes . . .
Long live the Queen!!!
Red, white and blue bunting, sandwiches and cake, jelly and ice-cream, families and friends getting together to celebrate – no, not the Queen’s Jubilee 2012 – do you remember the Queen’s Silver Jubilee 1977? It was brilliant!
I was only a young child then but I remember the feeling of everyone celebrating together......

What is Gift Aid?
Gift Aid is an easy way for parishes to maximise the value of its monetary donations, as we can reclaim tax from HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) on its 'gross' equivalent - its value before tax was deducted at the basic rate. This is 20 per cent from 6 April 2008. This means that for every £1 donated, we can claim an extra 25 pence at no cost to the giver.
